Once upon a time, there was a princess named Rosabella. She was very beautiful, with long black hair, brown eyes, and rosy pink cheeks. She had a parrot in her room and loved it dearly.
One morning, her parrot was missing.
Worried, Rosabella hurried out of the palace and ran into the forest to search for it. As she looked around anxiously, her eyes fell upon a horse — and on it sat a prince.
Her parrot was in his hand.
Rosabella immediately walked up to him.
“This is my parrot,” she said firmly. “What are you doing with it?”
The prince replied coolly, “If it is yours, you should take better care of it.”
“I don’t need to learn from you how to take care of my parrot,” the princess shot back.
The prince jumped down from his horse and stepped closer.
“Do you know with whom you are speaking?” he asked, slightly offended.
“Yes, of course,” Rosabella said boldly. “With a madman.”
Before he could react, she snatched her parrot from his hand and ran back toward her castle, leaving the stunn
ed prince behind.
